They’re bold, brilliant and they’re all over your IG timeline—they’re the cafés with neon light signs.

Two weeks ago, we shared 7 IG-worthy cafés with you. This week, we’ve got 6 more to add on to your ‘must-visit cafés in Singapore’ list for April 2018!

Xiao Ya Tou

Imagine your favourite western café favourites with an Asian flair—that’s what Xiao Ya Tou’s all about.

We especially love their Unagi Kabayaki Benedict—Fried Mantous (Chinese Buns) topped with juicy slabs of grilled eel and a Yuzukoshō (fermented chilli peppers, yuzu peel and salt) Hollandaise sauce. Mmmm...we’ll take this over regular Eggs Benedict any day!

P.S. Xiao Ya Tou represents ‘little girl’ in Mandarin which is reflected in the neon light sign of the little girl in the joint.

alittle tashi may be new to Singapore’s dining scene but it’s definitely one we’ll keep a lookout for! We especially love their rice cakes—pan-fried to a crisp, with a sweet and mellow flavour, the dish especially well with their house-made Miso Cream!

P.S. If you’re wondering where the inspiration for the lights in the shape of laundry came about, visit this laidback joint and its coy neighbourhood and you’ll know why!
